Short takeoff and landing flying demonstration in the STOL CH 701

Missionary pilot Stephan Saint demonstrates some of the Zenith STOL's short rough field capabilities. The STOL aircraft is equipped with fixed leading edge wing slats, full-length flaperons, and large tail control surfaces to excel at slow flight. This video was produced by i-tec (itecusa.org), and was part of the Zenith STOL flying presentation at Oshkosh AirVenture on July 30, 2009. This 701 was built in Ecuador, South America.

Me encanta y me interesa conocer con los dos puestos ocupados en que distancia despega y aterriza, o sea con maximo peso?

Stephan,

Thanks for the tip on rotating early - will give it a try. Out of interest, what approach speed are you using? ...and are you landing with just a bit of power?
