Hi mark
Why are you selling your interior?
I have the same interior and would have been great to purchase it from you
Some is going to get a great deal!
Dave
Mark, my situation is similar to yours. I bought a 601xl that was flying but had a hard landing and prop strike, so I decided to change engine and all of the avionics.
The wings were off, canopy removed, interior taken apart, the firewall trashed and had to replace the nose gear. So I’d say I did at least a 20-30% rebuild.
I had a really slow start, pretty overwhelmed. I decided that the way”eat this elephant” was one bite at a time. So I picked a small task that I felt comfortable with and started with that. Also I had to remove some parts (firewall for one) so I realized that if I make a mistake I can always go back and fix it, it will mostly cost me time.
I knew I was not making the most efficient progress but I was making progress none the less.
I’m in middle tn, too far to come visit at the moment.
I would be be glad to share some thoughts.

its a journey to enjoy but can be very challenging. Pick one thing to do a day. Small steps will make you look back and realize you made big gains. In many ways it’s really a choice on the individual steps.
Burnout days do just that, gives you burn out. Pick an item to complete and go for it.
I also know there were days with my 601 my time was spent looking and understanding. Then the work days folllowing were very fruitful.
In in the end, it was all worth it!
Blue skies my friend!

601xl @ KZPH.
I actually flew down to KPGD last weekend!
Happy to give an opinion. But it'll be just that, an opinion to be taken with a grain of salt
