Maybe too much bling? I am thinking/planning on using 6-32 S/S screws to fasten windows to fuselage. Two reasons; don't want to paint/touchup rivets, don't want to drill out rivets when I need to take a window out. I don't care for the look as much as a like rivets which kind of keep with the overall look of the plane.
Any opinions?

John, good luck with however you decide to proceed.  I feel rather certain it'll look good however you do it.  For myself;  for now S/S screws, maybe later do an experiment with touch up paint, maybe powder coat if you go that route with good results ;)

Funny thing ... I'm facing a similar "dilemma" right now!  My pilot's side rear window (the one between what you show and the bubble door) had some gas ooze down it from a fuel cap vent over-flowing. (The tank was filled too full on a cold day and then expanded on warm day!). This bleached-out a couple of streaks in the smoked Lexan all the way down the window.  No amount of polishing gets it out - the "smoke" tint is simply gone!

The biggest reluctance I've had to replace the window is having to drill-out, replace, and touch-up all of those rivets! <sigh> I have this nightmare that I'll get all that done and it'll happen again someday and I'll have to do it all over again! Ha!

I like your s/s screw idea.  I have some "Kawasaki Green" powder coat which is essentially the same color as my "Gecko Green."  I'm tempted to powder coat the heads of the screws if the color is a close match.  That way, in the future, if the window required replacement again, the screws could be re-used and no further touch-up required.

I'll be painting my CH750 fuselage soon and will be dealing with this same issue. I'm more likely to pop rivet with special soft rivets provided in the kit and touch up with paint. Unpainted screw/rivets seem to stand out too much aesthetically.

Your airplane looks nice.  Why let a few rivets change that when they're so easy to drill out.

David;

The ss makes a nice contrast with the blue!! looks very industrial, which our planes are.. And practical.
