Sleeves Over the Cuts in Folding Wing Option Bar

By cutting the bar and using 1.25 x .063 wall sleeves, I will be able to unbolt the FWO structure and remove. I want the ability to fold the wings for transport, and this method will avoid the weight penalty of a permanent install. It also eliminates the drag from the external rod ends or the need to build and install fairings. And if need be, I can leave it installed.

Hi Joseph,

You have a very good idea for your removable underwing tube of FWO. I may do same with mine. Thanks.
