The fire sleeve serves for two things: to protect cables or pipes against fire and to protect them from the heat.
With the nylon tire- wraps I'm protecting my fuel line from heat radiated only, not against the fire. These tire-wraps resist up to a 100 degrees celsius.

Paulo Anders
Paulo,
Nice installation. You might consider using stainless steel safety wire instead of the nylon zip ties to retain the fire sleeve material. The nylon will melt at a comparatively low temperature - allowing the firesleeve to open up.
