The fire sleeve serves for two things: to protect cables or pipes against fire and to protect them from the heat.
With the nylon tire- wraps I'm protecting my fuel line from heat radiated only, not against the fire. These tire-wraps resist up to a 100 degrees celsius.

Nice installation. You might consider using stainless steel safety wire instead of the nylon zip ties to retain the fire sleeve material. The nylon will melt at a comparatively low temperature - allowing the firesleeve to open up.
