A graceful pose by Steve while he deals with a loose brake hose. It was 100deg. in St. George as well....lots of fun! Rest assured we're giving the responsible party a bad time. :)

Hey, what are friends for?? Anyway, didn't I run the brake bleeder down at the calipers? I mean that was a big sacrifice laying on the cold concrete hangar floor on a 100 deg day!

What a “surprise” that Woody would post this picture! Nice of him to document how much fun it is to re-connect a brake line you can just barely reach with the tip of your fingers while standing on your head in 100 degree heat.

Now I should point out that Woody is an accomplished race car builder and driver. He owns an auto repair shop and a high-performance engine machine shop so he is more qualified then I to repair anything that breaks on an airplane. Nice of him to “help” by documenting the event. Thanks Woody!

Also useful to note: I hired some “experts” to help build my plane (Woody was not one of them). They each have years of experience working on cars and airplanes. It was one of the “experts” who installed the brakes on my airplane. Heck, I am not complaining – the brakes worked perfectly right up till when they didn’t at about 854 hours according to my log book.
