The tool is 60mm across , with 40mm pitch rivets you have a around 70mm to fit the tool
between,this takes into account the radius of the neighboring rivet heads .

It appears you may be clamping the legs of the jig on top of other rivet heads nearby unless the spacing of the rivets is more than the width of the tool. Otherwise, it looks nicely done.
