The fiberglass portion is a 701 wingtip. With a little fiddling, was able to make work on the CH750 wing. It looks very nice.

Hi Paul,

We also confused Shirley. She thought they might not fit but they actually fit better than the stock 750 mouldings (in our opinion). The tip moulding in the photo is an older tip that one of the guys had on hand. One of the guys ordered the 750 tip and 4 of us ordered the 701 tips. The tip mouldings are not perfectly symmetrical. One side will fit better but can't remember which. It will take a fair bit of fiddling to get the best fit. One tip is to make the bottom L angle (about a 60 degree bend?) longer on the bottom (ie 20mm x 50mm 'L') to accomodate the inward sculpting of the bottom wing skin. You can kind of see it in the photo. Just take your time and it will turn out fine.

Good luck,

Joe

Joe, I just ordered the 701 tips, kind of confused Shrilly at Zenair. Hope it's not too much to make them work. Any pointers on what you had modified on the wing itself ?

  Thanks, Paul
