Zodiac 601 HDS over N. Georgia

I've done the the mod as Stated. I used Jim Olsen's mod. It is solid and complete. I've also posted the plans here on the forum.  Not a weekend project but well worth the effort.

Charles,

Do you have a link to the plans?

Ant.

I posted them on the forums awhile back. Do a search see if they pop up.  Otherwise just let me know and I'll send you a copy.

I have a friend who has done this on his newly completed HD. Works a treat and looks great too.

A few years ago I asked Zenith via email if I could convert my 601 HDS to the spring gear. They answered that I could not because the 601 HDS was not engineered to accept a spring gear. I unfortunately did not save the email so I can not link it.
