Hi folks, for those who do not know we are building Zenith Aircraft in Ghana for Medicine on the Move and others, in order to be the SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) they are really meant to be.  In the USA a pick up, called a SUV tends to be used as a SV (Sports Vehicle), where we live we use the same vehicle purely as a UV....

Likewise the LSA (Light Sports Aircraft) here is more of a LUA (Light Utility Aircraft) and really does do the work that is expected of it.  Similar in spec to the Piper Cub, we need to look at how hard the Piper Cub worked in its variety of roles over the years... and so the Zenith range of STOL machines sets a new standard in LSUA for those of us in the developing nations.

Our vision is to change the lives of the indigenous population through aviation.  Learning to build the aircraft that they learn to fly in and to use them to serve their own people, maintaining them to the highest standards.

I would encourage you to look at the work of these girls (see pictures and blogs on our page ) and to encourage them  in their efforts.  They love to look at your pictures (Suzy Patey is a favourite - and they are very proud of her), they love to see how other people are doing and we encourage all of you to support these young people with a few key strokes of encouragement and perhaps give us some ideas on awareness and fund raising too....

Our operation has a commercial arm - http://www.waasps.com and a not-for-profit medical aviation logistics arm http://medicineonthemove.org - we do have challenges, but who doesn't!!  We hope that our work encourages you, and that you can now reach out into the African bush through the power of the internet and encourage a young African girl to fly, to build and to change their own landscape, one flight at a time....

Hello Ladies, My husband and I have build a 701 and should be airbourne very soon. I am also getting my pilot licence and to date have 13 hours of flight time, have completed my ground school and obtain my radio licence. I really enjoy reading and hearing about your activities.
Well done everyone your 701 looks great. I am building a 701 in England, I hope it looks as good as yours when I finish it. Keep up the good work and enjoy your aircraft building and flying.
Kind regards, Andrew.

Keep up the good work! You young women are an inspiration to all builders and pilots!
