My plane is complete from the motor mount back. I just hung my O200, working on baffling & cowling. Looking for some CG info. Can you tell me where your CG fell & where you put your battery.

hey Luc

Great lloking 701... especially the cowl.  Did you have to make the firewall wider to handle youe engine since the 701 is designed with avery narrow firewall for the 912 engine?

 

I'm building a 701 also and my engine is wider then the 912... so I'm looking at making the firewall 32" wide(very easy to do)!

I hope you can do it in time to try it out on snow. You'll be able to get into very small lakes then or should I say puddles. We have many small lakes around here and on the Quebec side. Check out Deep River on Google Earth.
