Airspeeds - Flying the Zenith STOL CH 750 powered by the Jabiru 3300

Roger and I flew around the patch a couple of times on Friday to share some good views of the Dynon D180 FlightDEK and Garmin 496 panel. Notice the slow flight and cruise (with the fat tires and bubble doors).

Could you tell me what prop was on the Jabiru 3300 during this video. Was it the standard kit 68 inch wood Sensinch or the ground adjustable 64 inch carbon fibre Sensinich?
Excellent video... thanks.

The purpose these videos is to show you that actual speeds and performance numbers are (as opposed to telling you what they should or could be). Our demo STOL CH 750 with the Jabiru 3300 engine is equipped with a climb prop and the fat over-sized tires. We're still experimenting with the carburetor jet settings...

Very nice!

Can you use a pol filter to cut down on reflection and glare on your camera? Might help. Also, would be great if you could summarize your experiences with the Jab and compare it with the O-200. This would be a great service to all the CH750 builders.

Tx, Stefan

What are the real life 1,500 - 2,500 ft alt. cruising speed of the CH750 with Jabiru 3300 engine?
I have noticed manufacturers tend to over state the cruise and understate the stall speeds of the aircraft they sell. My CH601HD with Rotax 912 is a solid 90 - 100 mph cruise at 5200 rpm. With all rads & coolers inside the cowl, but no wheel pants it is almost as clean as it gets...but in the real world no where near 115 - 120 mph I was expecting. I have seen the radar gun picture showing the CH750 and 90 mph on the gun, so is that a normal cruise for the Ch750 and not the published 100 mph? I am not looking for an argument, just honesty in the performance numbers.
