Paul, I know this doesn’t make you feel any better, but that is how it works for us in Canada all the time. If we order a 5 dollar bolt and especially if the vendor decides to ship it UPS, it would might likely cost us $70 or $80 CAD. Yeah our dollar sucks but UPS charges canucks a minimum of $25 USD for brokerage plus shipping plus international handling, etc. As bad as we have it, I think the Aussies and Kiwis have it MUCH worse. I am sure if you were still in Jolly ol’ England you would be numb to all this...
