Having a problem getting a tight fit of the wing root nose skin 75W5-6 against the rib. Any suggestions?

Hi William,  you might consider double checking the L angle that is attached to the inboard nose rib that supports the root skin.  If the angle is not adjusted properly it could cause an issue.  If that looks OK, take a look at the following link:

This seems to be a difficult area to get a good appearance.  I spent quite a bit of time fileing and trimming, still ended up with some small gaps,  I'm sure it will fly fine.  Take your time and make small adjustments. You may have to re-make the part, cut the part about 20mm oversize and trim it down.

Have you tried ratchet straps?  It was my go-to tool for anything that needed to be held close.
