Retired sales/designer. Married to Donna. Wife is bank officer. Approx. 600 hours SEL time in variety of aircraft.
I wish I had known about this group before I bought my "project.' After driving six hours to see the 701 project I must admit I did not look the project over carefully. I am now dis-assemblying most of what the previous owner had done to check for mistakes. I have found several but nothing serious so far. Met a super nice guy named Dan from this group who has consented to let me come and look at his finished airplane. It should be a great help.
