Camping is great and town is close if you want to stay over and do some flying, I always like company.

At 4:50pm on April 15, 2010, Elmer Webster said…: Hi Mark, Sorry for the delay in a response. I've been out of town for a while. Yes, the bigger tires use larger (8") rims and new brakes & spindals. The tires are really cheap from the guys in Ohio but the wheels / brakes /axels were around $800 - $900. Call the MATCO people and tell them what you want to do and they'll make sure you get the right stuff. The new wheels use a better sealed bearing and the axels use an adapter to fit your current landing gear. It is a nice upgrade and I plan to post a full written assessment later this spring.
