This 701 I owned 12 years. It was great. I sold it last June. It now has a nice owner with a Lake House. I would love a Maule 235 on light amphibian floats next so I could carry more gear and go a little faster.

Time to sell our beloved CH701 amphibian

We bought N701ST in the fall of 2001 and my son and I have had a great 8 years exploring the Eastern midwest with it. It's now time to start taking my wife on vacations again so we are putting it up for sale. There is a ad on Barnstormers.com and on the Seaplane association web site.

Larry, did you have any more problems with the front horizontal stab brackets after the fix you did back in 2006? I've discovered the same cracks in my 701 and I'm in the process of replacing them using your article from the newsletter as reference. Best regards, Shay King.
