I was just browsing the builders page when I came across your posting. My 701 kit is scheduled to ship from the factory on Feb. 4th. I am also a private pilot since 1971. I really like your paint scheme. Are you happy with the finished project pertaining to performance / handleing etc.? I see that you have it registered with an N number. Ordered the kit and received rudder in November 2007. Picked up the kit from the factory in December 2007. Just had my one year anniversary of my build. Tail feathers, wings, slats and fuselage is now sitting on the wheels. Seat pans fitted, side skins from instrument panel to fire wall fitted. Engine mount fitted and pedals installed. Instrument panel 50% complete and currently working on the controls. Once the controls are done will be hanging the engine. I thought I could build it in 12 months but with working a full-time job it's not possible. Estimated frist flight is May or June 2009.
