Wings won't fit - Fixing a builder error. Before I riveted the front & rear wing uprights (65B13-1 & -2) to hold the center spar into the fuselage, I aligned and lightly clamped these with two through bolts. I should have used four separate bolts or fabricated a spacer to hold the spacing of the spar members. When I tried to install the wings, the wing spars would not fit into the center spar!

I had inadvertently squeezed the center spar together and it was 0.030" undersize. To calibrate the center spar to accept the wing spars, I used a 5/16-24 bolt, two nuts and a washer to provide some jacking force. In addition to calipers, I milled an aluminum block to match the wing spar width. Widening successful with no damage to center spar or fuselage.
