Mostly perch, whitefish and pike are the ones you'd be fishing here. Some roach and other fish too we do not usually take. Typical pike is on average 1-2kg but we've had a few big ones too. I'm sure there are over 10kg pikes in the lake.
Ice fishing (with a rod and bait) is completely free in Finland. No license needed. Net fishing under the ice is controlled the same way as in summer, a license must be purchased.

What kind of fish in the lake? Are you permitted to ice fish for them? I love fishing and eating fresh caught fish almost as much as I love flying ;>)
