Zihad,

I first went out and found a plastic plug that would snap in and out of the hole and cut the hole to match the plug.  I got mine at EAA Oshkosh in the Fly Market, but they are available many places for a dollar or less.  I set the flaperons so they would be at the same level and "eye balled" the holes, made a mark with tape and then did some laying out with a ruler to get them placed evenly on both sides.  I selected the wrench I would be using to torque them and cut the hole to allow the wrench to fit easily.  The FAA never said a word about them.

Good day Dr,

I would like to ask the hole on the control cover. I understand the hole is for the ease when it come to install and uninstall the flaperon control bolts, as it need to use torque wrench to tight it up.

As there is no hole in the plan, can you share the diameter of the hole, and the dimension of the hole center. And what material you use to close it? And what other else do you need to satisfy the FAA to pass the checks for the holes?

Thanks Dr.
