First bend part to 90 degrees, then add additional hardwood board to the bending face of the brake and bend to the needed angle, board must be straight and can be clamped to angle iron if needed. For long heavy parts (up to .040" thick) I had to use a c-clamp every 6" to hold the formed part in place to prevent bowing. Duct tape was placed on the surfaces contacting the formed part to improve the brake grip and protect the formed part.
