Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
To all Zenith Builders. I am just curious if the zenith airplanes come with plumbing for pitot and static lines? Also, if not, what are most people using when they build?
Are most of you putting in alternate static also?
Hi Steven, yes, the Zenith kits do come with a pitot static tube and some line for plumbing, but I chose to go with the following products from SafeAir1:
and from ACS I installed on the above pitot mast the below
DYNON AOA PITOT UNHEAT L TUBE W/O BRACKET 10-01157
On my CH650 I installed the static ports one on each side of the fuselage just aft of the rear wing spar below the top longeron.
I'm the same as Dave
what was the part numbers from spruce as there appear to be a few different static ports available?
Thanks for the responses. That answer my questions. We are working on some ideas here to make pitot and static plumbing easier. In addition, we are developing a unique alternate static system. I was just curious if builders were using aftermarket mods on this or going with a stock system. I'll post more info when it's available.
