One of the more difficult aspects of building an experimental aircraft is figuring out which components you want to put in.

We have found that there are lots of questions regarding fuel lines installations from people who would like to use "certified" type hoses for the aircraft.  The problem with true certified hoses, such as Aeroquip are that they get extremely expensive, and the equipment required to properly assemble and test these hoses are extremely expensive.

This is where we are able to help you.  We have built hundreds of hoses for experimental aircraft.  It's what we do.  These hoses are conductive teflon (very important) hoses with a stainless braid.  In addition, these hoses have stainless fittings on the ends for superior strength and fire resistance.  Finally, we test these hoses to their rated pressure before sending them off to you.  While your aircraft fuel system will have pressures well less than 100PSI, these hoses are rated and pressure tested to 3,000 PSI.  In addition, our fittings are a true 37 degree flare to match standard AN hardware.  Some hose builders that specialize in car hoses build hoses with an automotive style flare.  In general, it works, because the pressures are low, so there is no leakage.  However, we have selected components from the ground up to work with experimental aircraft.
