My 701 was recently damaged in the building it was being stored in. The building was blown over by a tornado. It received extensive damage. Do I need to report this and if so how? I do plan to rebuld it.

Sorry to hear that :(

I feel your pain.

I had pretty much the same thing.   Repaired the plane, noted it in the log book, went flying.

Tragic!

I've got a 750 leading edge piece vertical stabilizer with only a slight dent (fresh from the factory) that might work if you need to rebuild on a budget. I've forgotten where the dent is, but if it's in a place you might have to cut off anyway . . .

Let me know if you need it, and I'll ship it to you. It's just been taking up space in the hangar, waiting for something like this.

I don't think you would have to report it to anyone but your insurance company. Enter all repairs in the log book and have fun rebuilding.
