A few hundred feet of desert sand works just fine. This sand was somewhere north of Yucca Valley. Gotta watch out for them Joshua Trees!

We can't stay in Palm Springs, most of us have to stay 500 ft away from schools.

See what I get for trying to be gentle with the infirmed. At least my confusion isn't from knocking my head on the wings all the time. You can alway tell the high wing guys from the bloody foreheads. That, and they're always scrounging around for ladders to get to their gas tanks. I wonder what the injury statistics are from falls with fuel hoses? And who knows where those nozzles end up? You have to be very masochistic to want to fly those things. Of course, you all like to sleep in the middle of the desert. You know there's some very nice hotels in Palm Springs.

Low wing guys are so easily confused…. We told Ted he could sleep under his wing and he's stumped…...

Joe, I thought I had a nice 601 to mount on my cabin, but he surprised us all. He's looking for tundra tires now for his plane. And you missed the Yeti signing T shirts. Ted was gracious enough to make those for us.

Joe, Those dried-out old high-wingers just disappear in my dust.

It sounds like you showed them high wing boys how it is done!... I thought I warned you about those desert dwellers. Now yer dun fer!
