Hi Ben
Great news that you are are able to communicate with me in this roundabout way. My phone # is 386 566 2616.
Many airplanes are flying and Viking has over 200 ECU's in inventory. You can have one overnighted by UPS early tomorrow morning. Just call me, or Samantha at 386 416 8383 before UPS cutoff in the morning. Our other cudtomers are waiting for the ECU updates that we obtained by flying the CH-750 from Florida to New Hampshire. The programing was perfected by allowing Viking to fly to a cold area of the country. If you would rather have the current ECU, please let us know.
Ir is understandable that some customers dont have time for our relentless commitment to perfection. Those that visiit us know how hard we work to make the best engine for thoose that buy them. Just today we made a great discovery. The crankcsse breather hose, exiting the top of the oil tank, is undersized. Even though it was calculated to be of adequate size, fittings narrowed the final exit and made it too small. Testing a larger hose made a world of difference and Viking can now remove the external oil returnhose. During the flight up north, we were able to perfect cold starting. We also put another 30 hours on the Viking 750. WHAT a nice flight. The new bypass thermostat held engine temps at 178F durung climb, cruise and descents. Even a drop and chop descent from 7500 feet at 25F down to ssealevel kept the temps nailed and the Viking heater going. Viking just secured 1, 000 sets of gears for the Viking Gear Drive and hundreds of sets of other parts for large volume production. An unbelievable interactive online manual is close to be revield and a Viking upgrade DVD is in the works in order for those with earlier engines can get the same performance of engined being delivered right now.
