Do you mean the nose rib flanges are causing sharp points in the skin when you pull it down over the rib?

Bent the tabs a bit more. Helped
Exactly .

Ok so that is likely caused by one or more rib, or leading edge portions thereof, protruding a bit as compared to the others. Lay a straight edge across the front of the row of ribs and check that none sit proud as compared to the others. If it’s possible to gently bend and shape any minor protrusions then do so (for example the protruding piece at the bottom right of your photo) but be careful not to create any sharp creases.  If an entire leading edge of a rib sits further forward from the others then you’ll need to determine why and take corrective action.

Good luck,

Are your ribs all from a kit?  If so, and not damaged they should be the correct length so my

question would be are you pulling the skin around correctly.  I’m not exactly sure what stage

you are at, but I will add a pic of how I brought my skin around - slow steps.

I looked inside once skins where all on. The nose piece tab area puts too much local pressure on one spot. Bent it back slightly. That seemed to help .

You might cut a strip of aluminum you can fit around the nose ribs as a standin for the full skin and check for any areas of bad contact or protrusion. That might make it easer to get them adjusted.

Good idea
