I bought another airplane last month, and promptly lost the Notarized Bill of Sale and Registration Application.

Does anyone know how best to get the airplane registered under these circumstances? The seller does not want to provide duplicate paperwork.

The FSDO doesn't return calls or emails. The number I found for the OKC FAA doesn't have an option pertaining to this. EAA says to get the seller to create a duplicate with an original signature in ink on two copies and mail it in with five bucks (it may be more when late fees are added). Does anyone know of a number at FAA I can call to ask about this?
