Hi,

I got a pair of old style 3 wheels 1150lbs amphib floats for a CH701.

Never used but rigged for SkyJeep mount.

Undo the main wheels and bolt on the SkyJeep directly.

- Floats were rigged on a CH701 but 701 never went in water with them.

- Mains electric actuator operated (no backup)

- all aluminum spreader bars; horizontals lined up with aluminum square for stiffness

- manual drum brakes could be used for differential braking or not

- mounts on SkyJeep main gear (undo wheels only)

- nosegear extension setup for Tundra tire - setup not finished

- white paint (top) - red underneath - fair condition

Sold the lakeside chalet before I got to use them - no use anymore.

Asking 6950,00 CAD$  - Can be transported on a trailer easily.

Pick up in Montreal Quebec, Canada.

More pictures available. Questions, just ask.

Regards,

Norm

Norm,

Do you know if these are the size used on the CH 601 UL, also do you have any manuals?

Please email any pictures to dlpohle@diamonddredges.com

Hi Dan,
I did not know 601's could go on water... I would think Zenair could help you
With those questions. What is the 601 Gross Weight ?
These 1150lbs will fit planes in that GW range.

Also the mounting hardware may have to be modified to fit the 601 main landing
Gear leaf and nosegear post.

Norm

Are these the same floats shown in the earlier pictures mounted on an unpainted 701 or are these unused.
The 601 HD is often used on floats at 1200 pounds. the 601 UL is 1050 so 1150 lbs could fit my needs. Could you send more pictures.

Hi Dan,
yes they are the same floats. They were trial fitted on my 701 but never used.
We got rid of the lakeside property before I could use them. No use for them anymore. Send me your email address and I'll send you more photos.

Norm

Are these floats the CZAW 13`2" or the Zenith 15`5" 1150 amphibs , thanks BOB

Hi Bob,

These are the 13'-2" old style 3 points amphib floats. Both floats have rudders and electricaly operated retracting wheels (no backup). Horizontal spreader bars are lined with square aluminum bar for reinforcement. Setup is for SkyJeep type landing gear but could be changed.

Norm

I'm assuming these are long sold by now?

Hi Charles,

Nope, they haven't sold yet. I'm not in a hurry, they are well protected in my hangar and not in my way.

People assume I'll give them away to get rid of them.

Regards,

Norm
