I am wondering if anyone has used 91 octane, no lead, no alcohol in their Jabiru 3300 engine?  If so, any issues found, any deterioration of seals, lines, etc?  So far, I have stuck to using 100LL, but understand that auto fuel with no alcohol may be allowable?

Thanks for the information and the clarification on the rivet line.  I built my deflector for the heater and am waiting for the weather to go above 8 degrees to install and test it.  I flew the other day and had great heat on the passenger side, but cool on mine.  The deflector should help a bit.

A new fuel tank would be a good idea, but I'm trying to convince my children's mother that I need a paint job, she'd have a real fit if I start building tank trailers!  I'm taking her to Ireland in April, nothing like bribery!

The soot may be a result of using just 100 LL and then burning the cleaner burning 91. With an 8:1 compression ratio 91 - 93 would be fine for your engine. The alcohol type fuels seem to be the culprit when it comes to seal deterioration. Also, moving away from the lead would be a good thing. My two cents.
