Flying a typical (yet very short) pattern in a stock Zenith STOL CH 701 "sky jeep". Headwind was only 5 or so mph. Airplane is powered by the 100 hp Rotax 912 ULS engine, and is equipped with the stock fixed wing leading edge slats. I don't even think the flaps are used!

Now you have got me to thinking. On a 3,000' paved strip, how many full stop take offs and landings can you do by lifting off to a hight of 5 feet and then back down.

I know for a fact you can do three. Would that count for your recency? hahaha YES! No where in the CFARs does it say you have to do a full circet (FAR61.57). Of course I always do just for my safety. But then again. Who goes 90 days with out flying. Oh yeah, it's they guys up North who are snowed in all winter. If I lived up there I would put skis on and on nice days, Go Flying.

GREAT VIDEO! I'm inpressed with the short NO FLAP take off.

Wow, you could theoretically do 80 circuits in one hour! That would make an interesting logbook entry!
