Second flight: Turbine powered STOL CH 701

Second landing in my 701. She now has a grand total of 1.1 hrs time in flight! Thanks Zenith aircraft for a wonderful design!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! I know what that first and second flights are like since I just completed by tenth and still have 37 hrs of testing yet to go. If you have the opportunity would like tohear an know more about your turbine and how it flies.

Scott, your stable approach profile and precise touchdown suggests precise airspeed control. Very impressive! Many of us would like to know what speed you were holding and did you reduce power before or after touchdown? Thanks for sharing the event.

Very cool Scott. Congratulations on passing your first hour of flight. Thats probably the most advanced powerplant in the Zenith fleet. Do you have a Beta setting for your prop?
