Actually, come to think of it, I think it came with a couple sizes of adapters, and one of them worked.

It's a Vivitar series 1 HD Pro NDX Variable neutral density filter 37mm. I found it online, and I bought an adapter ring with it to fit it to the camera.

Sorry, I guess I should have read your other post first. Can you please post the brand of variable ND filter that you used. The quality is superb. Thanks.

Randy,

Now that I looked and saw where you are located, I heard that the Bookcliffs were burning. (Pine Ridge fire)

Hopefully things will get under control through-out all the states with fire.

Thanks Randy,

They made big progress today. Also, tonight is the night they will break the news, Good or Bad, to the several hundred about their homes. The count is approx 346 houses destroyed, while other houses are in different levels of destruction. My heart and prayers are with those families tonight.

Thanks for the performance numbers with your plane. I am anticipating using the 912ULS also. I will probably start with the same prop and prop pitch. I live at 9,100', so most of my flying will be around 10,000'

Thanks again,

Keith

Great video! What kind of camera did you use? There was very little (if any) prop distortion.
Comment by Randy Owen on June 28, 2012 at 4:36pm

I have the Rotax 912ULS engine with the 70" Warp Drive prop pitched at 11deg. at the tip. At these elevations that gives me good takeoff and climb. At 5000RPM I true about 80MPH burning 3.5GPH of unleaded premium. If I push it up to 5500RPM I true about 90MPH. My airplane is 612lbs. empty. For this video I was solo, but I've taken my wife there with me, and it performed fine then, too. I'm based out of Mack Mesa, CO (KC07), right near the Utah state line. The camera I use is a Contour HD. I put a variable neutral density filter on it and adjusted it till the prop blurred. Probably won't make it to OSH this year.

Keith, we're praying for all you guys in the COS area. I hope your home escapes the fire.

What engine?  Cruise speed?  Weight?  Etc.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful videos. I would like to know which camera you are using that takes away the prop effect?

Really nice video. Camera quality was excellent.

My CH750 is ready to get back up in the air after a one year project repairing all the damage to it after my serious crash last year.

Can't wait to take it to places like this.
