Fun in the snow! Winter flying with wheel-skis on the Zenith STOL

Bob McDowell visited Zenith with his STOL CH 701 "Sky Jeep" with custom penetration wheel skis, demonstrating the CH701 both on snow and on the runway (KMYJ). Bob's "Li'l Beaver" CH701 is on Zenair amphib floats in the summer, and now wheel-skis in the winter - the perfect all-season sport plane!

Most excellent video.... needs waist deep snow to test the flotation of the skis.

That's some FUN flying isn't it ..... wow.  Great video.

The skis look very nice and solid. The wide body of the skis must be real good in deeper snow.
