Met my insurance requirements. New, and unproven, plane so they wanted 10 hours of dual time before covering me on a SOLO flight. Got that done today after mastering the different landing characteristic of the STOL design! Took MY plane for my first solo flight in it! She flew flawlessly!!! Now that I know how to handle her, I can't wait to start getting some serious hours done! Lovin' my 750 STOL!!!! :D

Nice flying. Takes some skill to keep that nose gear from smacking the ground during landing. Keep up the good videos!

Yeah the Virb Elite has a built in GPS, pretty sensitive too! It stores everything on the video. Then whatever "gauge" you want you just drag onto the video from a menu onto the raw footage and it shows up. Very simple program and easy to use.  You can add a bunch of other information with optional sensors as well, but I don't have anything except what's built into it.

Mark, what program runs telemetry? Built into VIRB? Great airspeed & altitude control. Enjoy.

It's a Garmin Virb with the aviation bundle.  Has a prop filter on it that you can take off. The overlay is part of the software and there are various options for it, not only aviation but bikes, cars, hiking, etc...  Very, very sweet little camera!!  Built in Wi-Fi, can be controlled from any phone, or pad.  Has an adapter plug so you can plug your headset right into it!

Nice video  - how did you do the telemetry overlay?
