Hi all,

It has been a couple of years since I posted last, to much study and work. Well its time to start building, I purchased plans in 2010 of a CH750 and have decided that this year I begin the works. First thing I have had a quote to supply some pieces from the US WOW , freight was not a factor at the time of discussion.

Noting  a number of you import pieces please advise me when the next time this happens I would be keen to reduce my freight costs.

hi allen,  the mod to the controls lets you rest your forearm onyour thigh, a lot like a cub with sticks.  also lets you fly with either hand except during landings and takeoffs. I like it!!!!  WADE

Hi Allan,

Do you have any plans for another shipment from Zenith.  I'm about to order some fibreglass wingtips and it would probably be cheaper if they came via Oz.

Regards

Allan, glad that link worked out. I had to do a few searches to find that link. Like I tell my wife, it's how you phrase the question.

Allan, check out this site. One of these guys has the manual in pdf format, but you will have to contact him.

Thanks Allan. I've been building for about 4 years. Started with 601HD plans but graduated to the 601XL. Just getting back into it after about a year off owing to injury.

Hi Allan
Thanks for your comment on my cooling fence. Every part of the baffle system is removable so duplicating it shouldn't be to difficult. I was considering marketing a fence kit should everything go well but I am still out to lunch on that one at the moment. My focus at the moment is to get mine in the air and then we will see.

I have seen your spinner... the CH750 "Catnip" built at Can-Zac sports your spinner and an electric variable pitch prop. Very nice aircraft jewelery.

Hi Allan,
Just a quick message to say that Dave Graham and I would be interested in the upgrade for our 601XL - please keep us informed! Looks like a lot of work but appears that we have to do this. Our XL is performing beautifully and we just did the 100 hourly!

Cheers,
Jon

Hi Allan,

Saw the news, had a brief dummy spit but got back on track. I see this as the best possible outcome and am happy to tell anyone I am in full support of Zenith both in Aus and overseas.
It must be a trying time for you so if there is anything I can do by way of support please let me know.
In any case, please put me down for the purchase of the full upgrade kit. I am also willing to pay extra to expedite delivery as I see this as a very small investment compared with the total aeroplane.
Also, a question. My kit came with the standard "skin flex" hinge for the ailerons. I don't see this type of hinge being suitable for the mass balancing situation. Will this type of aileron be acceptableto CASA? I am building under VH registration.
Regards,

John
