HI joe, I read Some of the heads were done wrong and could't be repaired. All so the company is out of busines and some suppliers never got thier money. The website has been taken down. Get your engine checked out . Hope you didn't get one of the bad ones. Ralph
Hi Joseph, Thanks for replying to my post. I have found a WW engine with about 25 hr on it. I considered an aeromax till I read about some problems with sone of them, and some comments about dealing with Bill Clapp. Sounded like William was the way to go. Thanks. Best of luck. Ralph
I saw the image you posted of your "isolater" and was wondering how it is used. It looks like it is near the floor in the cockpit. Is it part of your electrical system?
Looking at your build pictures pushes me a step closer to building another. Looking forward to hearing about your first flight.

Ok Joseph (pardon me for misspelling your name in the former comment, it was the Belgian version) I might have misinterpreted the picture. Now I am still puzzled about the 3 degrees nose up. Could you give me some information on that too?

Hi Joseph - nice engine installation. Noticed that you repainted your valve covers (as did I). In my case I had to repaint mine after I welded the breather and oil return and oil filler tubes on.
Joe,
The magazine underneath allows just a little "give" when you rub across the crease to sort of push it back. Start out very light. Then keep looking at it as you push slightly harder until you see results. Don't push too hard or you'll make a bulge in the other direction. It won't go away 100% but you can make a significant improvement!

Right now Joe, I think the Jabiru 2200. When I look at all the additional things a Rotax requires, it makes the Jabiru look simple by comparison. Plus when I took my demo ride, that was Mark's recommendation.
What have you installed, and what engine instrumentation are you using?
Best,
Joe
Thanks for the response on my lights. The $200 is only 1/2 of what they cost new since they are the double flash units. However, I guess I would split the difference and sell for $175 plus shipping.

Hello Joe
How is the corvair performing? I'm beginning the firewall forward stage on my 750.
Tim
Hi Joe,
I've been working on this 750 kit for the past two years, but progress has been slow due to limited time available, so I am going to sell the project.
We live on Shady Airport which is just south of Ocala along I-75. Stop by anytime and please fly that beautiful new 701 in here when it is finished.
