thanks for the offer phil, one of the reasons i am building is i cant afford to buy a completed aircraft. i also need a challenging project to keep me sane for the next few years. life has taught me lately i need to take some time out for my minds health. cheers mate. rob
Phill, the seat bottom modification will be easier to upholster, but I'm sure my seats will not match yours in style. I've started working on version 2, but will be satisfied with comfort.
I only wish there would be an easier way to make that scoop...Didn't find one yet so...
Got to get my hands dirty... again.
Regards,
Norm

Phil, Thanks for the cutter recommendation. Just curious what chuck size it requires, my biggest problem seems to be finding something that will fit into a 3/8" drill, everything seems to be 1/2".
Hi Phil, I am building zenair 1450 amphib floats, to fit to Just Highlander, which is also still under construction. Last project was rv7 finished 18 months ago. Just can't help myself!!

Loctite 577 is used for stainless steel applications, about the gell around the thread could be bit of fuel seepage. Loctite requires about 24Hr to fully cure, you could have used pipe sealant (loctite 567 ) I will send you some info net few days.
I haven't had my plane up for a few months now as my airstrip has been too wet. With the weather finally warming up should be able to get airborne very soon. Looking forward to show Yu around the Northeast of Victoria and further afield.

Hi Phil
Have followed your progress - sorry to hear you won't get to complete your plane.
I am interested in your idea for the wing installation trolley as I am doing all my own work.
Could you send me info or plans to me? I wpould appreciate it.
