Thanks David,
I would think that pitch sensitivity could be adjusted by having autopilot move the elevator a lesser amount. It may take some tries but I think it could be done. I just don't know how unless you can get different sized capstans. Perhaps you could desenitize at the airplane vise the autopilot. Thanks for the link. I will go there right now. I am back. Looks great thank you very much. I think I will order my servos now.
Thanks David,
It has pictures of my installation. As mentioned, the Trutrack sketches for the 601XL installation will work for the Dynon servos. Externally, the two company's servos are identical. In smooth air, the 601 and an autopilot get along together very well. In my 10 hour round trip to Oshkosh this year, I was on autopilot for about 7-8 of them. It was very nice. In bumpy air, the pitch-sensitive 601 and the autopilot will fight it out some. I usually turn it off then and hand fly.
Good luck,
Ah! I beleive the drawing just does not show the cable that should be around the capstan and then clamped to elevator cable.

Thanks Ed. Is the elevator connection friction only? That is sure what the drawing looks like.

Joe-I believe servos are fairly standard-go to trutrakap.com they have pictures of mounting brackets for a number of aircraft which can be downloaded. I have ordered a bracket kit for my 601xl. Ed hamilton 609 971-8757
