To those who may be interested the prototype cowl is now finished and in the hands of the final fabricator Rattray Aircraft. They specialize in fiberglass parts for Experimental Aircraft and have done so for many years,thier reputation is for very high quality workmanship and strength, so now we wait for the final layup to come out of the mold with the scoops included. We left the oil air intake closed for now and will add it later so that others who may want a copy of the cowl can make their…

Dear Robert, So far we have been able to run the engine about 4 times and it is extremely smooth almost no vibration more like a turbine than a piston engine. The custom prop made by Craig Catto of Catto props provide a real pull and it feels like a tiger ready to jump, I will be looking forward to the first flight. I will have to be exceptionally careful during taxi tests or I will be airborne I am sure so I will be very careful with the speed.<br />
