All right, finally sent the check and ordered the tail kit.  Will be getting air compressor, wood for the work table, and generally setting up a workspace.  Since winter is in full gear here still, it looks like the tail is getting built in the dining room.  Drop cloth on the floor, tunes on the radio, sweet sound of the compressor, and little aluminum bits all over the place.  I getting excited already.

Paul - I hadn't thought of that - but it makes sense that you wouldn't want to be in the garage in mid-summer in some climates.  I lived in Oakland, CA for about 5 years, and there you could build in the garage year round.  Except, when I lived there, I was living in the garage - low rent college student housing.

I look forward to hearing how your build goes.

I have the opposite problem, summer temps are around 115 so I built the rudder indoors and am trying to get as much done on the garage now before summer comes back. Anyway, enjoy your build!
