Root nose rib 75-w-4-1 drawn out does not match to root rear rib 75-w-4-2
if I where to make the nose rib x=0 and y=90 instead of 80, and do the same to the rear root rib, it would look more like the drawing of the nose and rear rib together, on pg 75-wa-1
Any suggestions ?

Hey Peter,

I am just about finished with my spars.  I think I may play with what I have and toy with the rib flange angels at least for a while on the first skeleton and try to remember to post my sucess/failures.  Good luck with your build

Thanks Tim.

I will have to play with these root ribs a bit I guess. Thankfully there are only two nose ribs and two rear ribs.
The more I go through the process, the more my BUY FROM THE FACTORY list grows. There wont be a lot of pieces, but enough to knock quite a few hours off of my build time

Peter,

Sorry but on closer inspection I think you are right, my ribs are closer to the 10mm off but most may be made up by adjusting the flange angle.    Hopefully others will respond.

Hello Peter,

I see that no one has jumped in to answer your question so I will give it a try. I AM NOT anything but someone like yourself struggling through as a novice so take what I say with a grain of salt.  All of my ribs are formed but I did go by the layout x, y dimensions, butting the root nose and rear rib together now there is a minor difference (2-3mm?) which may be the flange angle I estimated but not the 10mm you are experiencing.  One note, the x, y layouts points when I drew them out did not exactly match but I drew a gentle curve through (and close) to the points when I drew the form.  Maybe my comment with spur others to respond with a smarter answer.  I hope this helps and good luck with your build.
