Bungee has a 5 yr replacement cycle, its color coded stripes tell its age. Most bungee supplied in the kit has expired during the build process. Use a 1/2" drive ratchet to install bungee...pictures in my Can-Zac spycam photo album.

Phillip,

I live in Hidden Springs and I am thinking about building a 701. Would it be possible to visit and check out how this is done? I have a ton of experience in fabricating and building mechanical "stuff" but not aluminum and not an airplane.

It was fun showing the plane to you. Glad you had a good time. See you again someday.

Thanks Phillip
We're always finding something to laugh about that always make sense to everyone, but it keeps us ammused.

Your profile says that you are building an 801 but the photo says 750. Does that mean that you changed your mind and went for the 750 instead? Either way they are both nice aircraft. I have visited the factory and seen the demo 801 and the 750 test plane before it was revealed in March 2008. I liked the 750 then and like even more now. Looks easy to get in and out of compared to my 601XL. Could you post some more pics please and reveal the quality and accuracy of your kit.

Regards
Phill Barnes

Wow. My family on both sides is all from Meridian. Once I get my 750 built I'll have to remember to look you up whenever I fly it down to visit the kinfolk. Will you base your plane at Key? Delete Comment
