Flying in Zambia is great, there is bit of admin in terms of clearance though. Generally you have to apply for clearance - you can't just fly. Clearance for our local VFR in our area is granted for a two-week block - this is how it works for us. Also fuel - specifically avgas is only available at major airports. We have found the quality of petrol to be inferior in Zambia and run our Rotax on avgas.
