CH200 rebuild

Hello For those familiar with Zenith CH-200.I purchased a used CH200 with a hard landing/prop strike. I want to get the airplane back in the air and I have started studying the plans. The plans refer to the manual which I never received.My my question is: How important is it for me to have this manual? Or are the drawings enough?
