"I flew a Merlin years ago, good flyer. The 300 will be a lot faster and landing will take a bit getting use too. Power on till the ground , don't flare to high, the bounce will take the gear out. "

CH 300 Locking Nose gear

Hi I just bought a very nice looked after TRI-Z CH 300. I obtained 2 different sets of take off procedures. The one stated that you need to lock the nosegear before take off and the other one stated locking nosegear after takeoff. Just wondering if anybody out there can confirm the correct procedure and rational  Regards Dirk See More
