It is supposed to be a metal airplane. I take that to mean no plastic on the body work.;-)

I have to agree with Mark on your Nose Bowl project, but ( and this but is for Mark) I really like the added Al on the WW cowling. I'm not a big fan of paint on AL airplanes. Add the Al nose bowl to your 701,601...and you have art!, well maybe not art, but it is pretty darn cool. Sorry but, I love the FWGus J3 style cowling and an all AL nose bowl on top of it, would be ...well being a family site and all... pretty darn neat!

HI Ron , I just read that you are doing a metal Nose bowl, Good for you! Working metal into compound shapes is very tiime consuming and a true art form. Personally I am looking for someone to offer a upper and lower fiberglass cowling for the corvair conversion. I would prefer not to have the metal transition from a nosebowl.
