Occasionally, there's an informal fly-in to my airstrip. There's limited parking near the hangar and usually a few planes wind up parking on the end of the runway. I've always wanted more area for parking so as to get planes off the runway. Kenneth Cole, who graded my runway many years ago, was in the area with his big dozer so I brought him over to level some more ground. Maybe once the turf is re-established, it might be time for an informal Zenith fly-in at TN66 in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley in East Tennessee!

Kenneth finished the grading day before yesterday and I prepped the soil for seed and fertilizer, which was applied yesterday.  Fortunately, there was a gentle rain yesterday p.m. to help settle everything down.  It's slightly late to be sowing fescue in our area, but hopefully, if we can get some occasional precip, I'll get some turf going! Fingers crossed!

Maybe if I can get some grass growing, we can aim for Fall when the tree color peaks in the Valley.  Off course, anyone is welcome whenever - just message me so I'll know you're coming and will be around!

Would love to have some informal Zenith gatherings nearby (I'm in Tullahoma). More motivation to get my plane built!

It would be great to visit.  I have a local hangar rented for final assembly and flight testing.  Hope to be flying with testing complete by the end of August.

Hi John,  Count me in!  I'm only 2 1/2 fuel stops away! Looks like a beautiful area!
