What I admire most is your involving your kids making this a family affair. Wish I had done that, my youngest is now 31, and neither live anywhere near so can't even do with grandkids. Wish you the best with your build and I am already eyeballing storage space, never mind kids, guess I need to involve my wife a little more...

Oops, don't have 4 flaps - ailerons are in upstairs hall.

The rudder and flaps are on "display" in the main stairwell.  The horizontal stabilizer / elevator and the flaps are along the upstairs hall.  Hopefully early January I'll have to find a place for the wings.  Then the fuselage has to go somewhere.....   I wonder if my daughter wants some Aluminum Art in her room ??

Looking good Rebecca, I admire you work & progress. I share your pain, my tail feathers are laying on a bed in a guest bedroom, when company comes they lie on the floor in my crowded basement/workshop. When my wings are done I will store them???

Thanks Terry - you're right, I spend a significant amount of time figuring out how to position things.  It's a tight squeeze,  I keep toying with the idea of a storage unit for all the non-plane garage stuff.  I think I need to keep the plane project at home so I can "impulse build".

Now, what to do when the fuselage kit gets here.  Probably some of it goes in the dining room.

Brings back memories of mine at that stage.  It looks like you have an even smaller area to work than I did.  Every time I did something I had to re arrange the garage.  Good luck.
